Are you looking for an affordable way to engage your young children in science activities? Our age appropriate field trips encourage the wonder and fun your children love. The field trips are taught by our education staff, who are experienced in bringing science to life in understandable and engaging lesson plans. Prices are $3/child ($30 minimum), chaperones are free of charge. Additional scheduling, facility and payment information.
Bugs, Spiders, and Worms
- Learn about creepy crawly creatures. Stories, puppets, and hands-on experience help young children learn about the world of ants, spiders, and worms.Rock Sort
- Simple explorations of rock properties and diversity introduce young learners to geology. Sorting skills and lens use will be highlighted in this program.Meet Our Critters
- Meet the Orpheum’s turtles, snake, and lizards. Students will learn all about what these animals need to eat, where they live, and how they move.
