Extending and enriching our exhibits, the Orpheum offers curricula that are built around some of the most interesting and important science topics. Our outstanding Education team stands ready to share and collaborate with you in exposing the wonders of science to your students.
Group visits provide opportunities for educators, scout leaders, and other community groups to visit the Museum and join us in bringing science to life in understandable and engaging ways. Such visits, designed by scientists and educators, contain enriching activities that reveal the wonders of science while teaching core scientific principles.
Field trips are available for preschool-5th grade students. These visits include one of a variety of lessons and topics from which educators can choose. The Illinois State Standards for Science apply to all field trips for grades K-5.

Orpheum on Wheels is a program enabling us to put our show on the road and join you in the classroom, field, or laboratory with some of our unique and engaging resources.
