17th Annual Kids' Building Fair
Was May 17
We have many people to thank for this year's Building Fair on Saturday, May 17, 2008, but our thanks begins with our supportive sponsor, Preservation and Conservation Association, who has partnered with the Orpheum for each of the 17 years.
The weather was great this year. This year's fair featured building trades and contractors from around central Illinois. Their generosity to the fair and children's experience was incredible.
We wish to thank:

We also want to thank Board members and community volunteers who helped make this event possible. You are all very special and we appreciate your ongoing support and committment to the museum. Thanks to the News Gazette for last minute assistance with newspapers but also for all of their publicity. Most of all we want to thank the fabulous parents who brought their truly incredible children to the fair.
Every year this event grows bigger and better! Admission is always free to the building fair and activities are open to children of all ages. Normal admission applies for entrance to the museum and there will be concessions, gift sales, and other fundraising opportunities to support the museum.
